Cappadocia is just so unique and magical..we travelled in June with our children and had an amazing time..if you’re ever going to visit Turkey , cappadocia should not be missed. The ballon ride over the rock formations was very exciting.. Granted…it’s one of those must see places in the whole wide world !
It is a great walk to the open air museum from the town of Goreme. The museum is not expensive to get in, and offers a great overview of the history of the area. Make sure you walk around the rock formations outside the museum too.
Goreme Open Air Museum was so worthwhile. The views, history, and tour of the underground city and monasteries was great. Take your walking shoes and explore!
If you are in Cappadocia you should not miss Goreme Open Air Museum. The churches & dwellings built into the hillsides have to be seen to be believed. I had no idea at all what to expect, and I was bowled over by it. I took hundreds of photos. Provides a real insight into Turkish Christian history.
Don’t miss this open air museum becasue it is the perfect first impact with Cappadocia and its fairies. Nevertheless, close to the museum there are a lot of good-in-shape paths that take to the valleys like the Valley of the Roses.
Capadocia simplemente jn lugar magico y sobre todo si cpjen un tour privado que les ofrece los mejores lugares para habitar y recorrer
Stop by to see all the cave dwellings with signs in English explaining how they were used. Didn’t do the guided tour, so don’t know if it was good.
The Open Air museum is a great opportunity to see some ancient caves within walking distance of Goreme town centre. The whole area is of course covered in caves but here the highlights are the religious wall paintings and murals which really enhance the atmosphere.
