I went to Istanbul last week and was on a mission to find the most unique stores the city had to offer. I have a very specific style and was a bit nervous my request would not only get lost in translation, but it still might end up a bit generic. I sent a customized list of the shops that I had in mind to Melissa and Gokhan and they came up with amazing options – they were spot on. My friends in Istanbul didn’t even know of the stores I went to. Gokhan was a great tour guide! This tour was not only so fun, it was educational and I came home with the one of a kind items I was hoping to find. I was very lucky to have found this company and would recommend using them for your next visit to Istanbul!
Im not a fan of shopping too much but after this i was hooked. got to some fab shops all designer but at a discount so managed to buy something fancy for all the family.
I wandered around Istanbul for years, never realizing that I was missing the best parts! The tours take you to the magical parts of Istanbul that you would never find on your own, even after years of looking. Istanbul one dreams of, while finding (and buying?) unique covet-worthy stuff, and all the while you get to hear anecdotes only a local can share.
I had a great time on this tour, even though I was on my own. I didn’t have anything specific in mind with regard to outlets but most of the others did and I thought that Ebru did a great job of meeting the needs of everyone on board. This was no mean feat considering the age variances on our tour, teens to grandmothers!

It’s always fascinating to get “under the skin” of a city especially one with a storied history like Istanbul. Wear comfortable shoes as this is a full-day..
