Basilica Cistern enormous underground reservoir is imaginatively lit with various fish swimming in the waters around the gangways.
Topkapi Palace was incredible. We had a wonderful time and toured the entire place, including the harem. Some of the sections have incredibly long lines, especially the relics of the prophet. The cafe was expensive but very enjoyable and had an unbeatable view of the Bosporus.
We visited Istanbul for 1 ½ days on board the Celebrity Reflection in August. I highly recommend this company and our guide Taylan for your Istanbul experience.
Basilica Cistern that has been light magically. The acoustics are beautiful. It is defently a must visit place
The Grand bazaar is exactly what I imagined a Turkish market to be! Bustling with locals and tourists, haggling with shop keepers, great turkish housewares, Turkish delight etc. For those who are tired and need a rest and light bite there are small cafés, diners dotted between the shops. Take a big bag because you will not come away empty…
For me and my husband it is very important to discover a city. To enjoy it in the best way, in Istanbul we choose a full day tour.
Topkapi Palace is great place, especially the Harem. lot of things to see and very beautiful buildings and rooms, especially the Harem!
Basilica Cistern is very interesting place for those interested in archaeology and the general study of how ancient cities acquired their water.
The walk thru should take no more than 10 minutes unless you really want to "take it in" and contemplate on this marvel of engineering.
This place is absolutely fantastic. My jaw dropped in every room, with every detail on a tile, with every golden frame. It is so beautiful and full of history and riches that you simply must visit it.
Visit the Harem absolutely fantastic !
Los tour privados generalmentw nos llevan a algunas partes pero este creo que vimos mas de la mitad de istanbul y fue muy economico
