Istanbul lo mejor de turquia es una mistica yagica ciudad el tour privado te fasilita todo para conocerla
The Basilica Cistern is easy to miss – being underground, the entrance is from a low-key looking door on the street – the engineering that went into this such a long time ago is so hard to get your head around – a simply amazing achievement. Beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. Highly worth a look.
The Grand Bazaar came with high expectations! We've been hearing about it for years, and couldn't wait to visit. It was a great place to take in the history, aromas, and friendly merchants, while picking up some spices and delicious Turkish Delights, a jellied candy. It's almost the national candy!
Topkapi Palace was Sultans' residence but it is different from European ones. Its site is very large but we couldn't find ıts center. We saw (maybe some of) Sultans' treasures. They were all gorgeous and luxury. The view of Bosphorus from the restaurant was wonderful.
For those for whom "shopping" is an emotional experience, a visit to Istanbul cannot be complete without a visit to the Grand Bazaar. Given, this is no longer a visit to historical Istanbul. Even I, who first visited the Grand Bazaar in the late '60s can see how commercialized and unauthentic it has become since then.
We enjoyed the Topkapi Palace, there are many amazing tiles adorning all of the rooms. The harem is a must see and will complete your visit.
We loved exploring the Topkapi Palace, especially the Harem. A very interesting place to visit from a historical and architectural point of view. Get there early….as soon as it opens in peak season otherwise it is so crowded you need to constantly cue and look over people’s shoulders to see the displays. A must see though.
After doing a tour of Turkey and seeing the palaces and mosques we decided that a must do was the Basilica Cistern.. wanted to see how water was stored and to expereince an underground world. It is close to the otehr major sites, mosques and easy to locate.
On entry you find yourself in anotehr world!
Topkapi Palace is a must see, go early and avoid the many bus tours. Walk straight to the Treasury and see this first as this is the most popular and then visit the other sites. Worth paying extra for the visit to the Topkapi palace harem.
