Contatamos el tour privado a istanbul y quedamoa fascinados con todo lo que vimos
We visited first the Harem, believing it to be the busiest but had no trouble getting in. This was a very interesting part of the Palace. However the queues for the Treasury were so long that we gave it a miss!
La ciudad mas linda ISTANBUL sin duda alguna
Topkapi Palace is one magnificant palace that occupies a huge wide area over the Posphor, this was the official palace for the ottoman Sultan in the past, the features of extreme welfare are evident every where in this magnificant palace…
Topkapi Palace it’s huge! One could spend a whole day in here. It’s so hard to imagine how anyone could be so wealthy. It’s just amazing, like a little city. The jewels are stupendous & everything is so richly decorated. The power, & wealth, of the Ottoman Empire was beyond words. It’s amazing….
Our tour guide Sinan gave us a great comprehensive tour of the major sights of Istanbul. He was friendly, and even willing to do some additional research for us on a potential Ephesus tour. I’d highly recommend him.
We were only in Istanbul for one day, but thanks to the excellent work of our tour guide Taylan our party of eight was able to get a real taste of the city. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time in this fascinating place.
There is quite a few gems in the archaeology museum, including a portion of the chain that the Byzantines would place across the Golden Horn to protect Constantinople from attach. The displays are not so great (with a few exceptions), but it a way it makes the museum more interesting.
We were able to fit in a short layover to get a taste of Istanbul with our family. Yesim was able to give us great insight into the history and archetecture of Istanbul and show us sights that we would not ever have found on our own. Great driver and great guide made our short visit a worthwhile one.
Topkapi Palace is a huge complex and to do this properly you might need a whole day. Get there early and go straight to the Treasury ( big diamond) and the Hareem as these deveope big queues quite quickly. Then take you time wandering around the various about the various courtyards.
