Istanbulll es una locura donde vayas hay historia y una cultura de miedos
Harem was worth seeing and in general very good insight into the lifestyles and history of the Sultans and their rule. Great site to visit and we spent about two hours in all.
We had a fantastic time and would love to go back to Istanbul to explore more.

Istanbul Archaeology Museum is tucked away behind one of the narrow cobblestone streets near the Topkapi Palace. The museum is actually in two major buildings (as I recall). The sarcophagus of Alexander the Great was incredible with details and color from centuries ago. The tile museum building itself was a beauty unto itself, in addition to the with relics and pottery…
Topkapi Palace was unquestionably the coolest attraction I saw in Istanbul. Make sure to visit Harem-private quarters of Sultans.
We contacted this company by email and received very prompt response from Burcu. My friend and I only had two days in instanbul and wanted to see the city without wasting time finding our way around. The company agreed to pick us up from the airport, give us a tour on the first day, take us to the hotel, pick..us up the next day for a private tour, and take us back to the airport. Our guide Taylan was extremely well informed and had a good feel for our interests and the pace at which we wanted to see things. He chose wonderful restaurants for dinner. He was a very interesting person and a pleasant companion for the two days in Istanbul. We learned a lot about Turkish history and culture from him. At the end of the tour, Taylan met us to ensure everything went as planned. He took a very personal interest in our having a great tour. I would highly recommend this company.
Topkapi Palace is one of the must visit tourist sites in Istanbul. Make sure to include the harem as part of the visit.

Basilica Cistern is very nice underground museum showing the former cistern of the city. It's very well preserved and unexpected to see in the city center.
