Visit the Topkapi Palace, once the palace of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, Topkapi is a vast treasury of Islamic culture, science and weaponry, visited by over 2 million people every year. It is one of the highlights of Turkey.
Visit the Underground Cistern (Basilica Cistern),waterway was used as a reservoir for water storage for the Great Palace and other buildings. It is 132 m length, by 65m wide. There are 336 columns in the cistern. Most of the column capitals are either in Corinthian or Doric Style. It’s impressive.
After leaving the Basilica Cistern you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. Depending on how you measure it, the covered market here could be the largest shopping center in the world, numbering over 4,000 individual shops, you will find among masses of modern trash an approximation of youthful dreams of the glamorous oriental market.

Loved this place. Go early as it gets very busy and head straight for the Treasury in the Third Court as the queue for this gets massive. Lovely place to stroll around and don’t miss the Harem. The highlight for me was the Spoonmakers Diamond – a great back story!
Topkapi Palace is the largest palace complex in the world. There is so much to see and all is of interest – to many people. Be sure to allow ample time. It is best to have a good guide book for the fascinating details.
Take a guide its worth it to get all the information and see everything. Go there early morning when it opens.
伊斯坦堡一日游中,我个人最喜欢的是搭渡轮一游博斯普鲁斯海峡。看到黑海和博斯普鲁斯海的汇合处,实在太壮观了。!
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
Una noche turca en istanbul es ideal para completar el tour privado fue todo jermoso gracias
As we were visiting Istanbul in late Autumn, there were no huge crowds, and we had essentially no wait to enter any of the museums. However, not even a great tour guide could overcome the Istanbul traffic, and it took us almost an hour to return from the Grand Bazaar to the cruise port as we were caught in the rush hour (due to late ship arrival) of locals trying to get over the Bosphorus bridge to the Asian side. We did, however, make our ship.
Overall, could not have been more satisfied. Price was quite fair given that it was a private tour. Definite 5 – Stars.
Tour required mild walking and some stairs, definitely not wheelchair accessible.

It was an absolute pleasure being guided through this wonderful city by Cansu. Her passion for the historical significance of the city was inspiring. Her knowledge of all of the sights was remarkable. And her friendly smile and sense of humour were wonderful.
I’d highly recommend the tour to anybody who visits Istanbul.
I love this Topkapi Palace. It is so different. Tt is a magical palace!
This is the way to see the sites of Istanbul. Istanbul is crowded and there are too many things to see in too little time, especially if you are coming from a cruise ship. We had contact via phone and e-mail.The service was friendly, professional and caring. Thank you so much! We hope to make use of your service again.
