Basilica Cistern is very interesting to see and a nice cool place to sit for a snack. There was a long line to get in but it went quick.
You must see it. It is one of the most amazing historic places that I have visited. Plan at least 3 hours to visit. The view however is marvelous. Here you will find priceless famous pieces of religion and history.
The most interesting part is certainly Harem. Even if you have to pay for a separat ticket to the Harem I would say it is worth it. Look at the windows, the walls and let the fantasy play.
Every holiday in Istanbul has to include the Grand Bazaar. You could spend hours here. I was surprised that we were not hassled as much as expected… not sure why .. but very pleased. Purchased the appropriate shirts and hats and …. all good … Not to be missed
我们参加私人一日游时正好碰上当地的礼拜五市场。从蓝色清真寺出来后,我们要求到有带我们逛了一圈礼拜五市场,亲身体验了当地人的日常生活。
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
We had a marvellous time. all the things and surprises they are really too amazing.
伊斯坦堡的现代化相当令人印象深刻。
You can visualise the Sultan and his Harem when you visit the Topkapi Palace, beautiful ceilings and tilework, the display of the precious jewels and gifts was amazing, couldn’t spend too much time looking at the exhibits as there were a lot of people touring and the queues were long. Well worth visiting when in Istanbul.
Read a lot before you visit Topkapi, the place is really huge. Be prepared to wait at least 20 min to get into the jewelry pavilions. Some of the buildings can be closed due to reconstruction.
Basilica Cistern a must-see, as you can appreciate the centuries-old history of this place. Remnants of Roman temples were "recycled" to form the water cistern.
