After leaving the Archaeology Museum, you will finally have the opportunity to do some haggling at the Grand Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is like any bazaar except that, as its explains, it is all within one huge building. What a great experience! I would like to return some day.
Hagia Sophia an absolute must to see in Istanbul. you will need several hours to see it all and in the winter it's very cold.
Having Taylan as our guide in Istanbul was the best decision. He is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but his friendly and warm manner made our visit most enjoyable. We laughed and learned, and it was more like having a friend then a guide. Taylan, I will most definitely look you up on my next visit to Istanbul! Thank you!
Allow lots of time here. I recommend a guided tour because there is so much art work to see. Just seeing them would only give you a superficial understanding. However, a guided tour would provide valuable interpretation and make the best use of your time to see this huge building.
Istanbul es la maravilla el puente me gusto muchisimo las mezquitas se ven de todas partes es magico
We were only in Istanbul for one day, but thanks to the excellent work of our tour guide Taylan our party of eight was able to get a real taste of the city. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time in this fascinating place.

By comparison with other Museums in UK, Europe and USA I rate the Istanbul Archaeology Museum as one of the best museums in the world. IT is currently in renovation so it is only going to get better. The Alexander sarcophagus, sculpted busts, mosaics and cuneiform scripts are as old as I have ever seen. The displays are well done…
