It’s always fascinating to get “under the skin” of a city — especially one with a storied history like Istanbul. Wear comfortable shoes as this is a full-day walking tour, and be prepared for a great experience.
Istanbul was the most amazing city…returned four weeks ago and sad to see the rioting there…if is all calms down, be SURE to go visit this amazing city…adventure of a lifetime…but NOT for the physically challenged…there is no handicap access anywhere that i saw….
Don't expect as you are going to see a real hippodrome. The oldest parts of behind a school of the northern end. Then columns is very spectacular. Seating by the benchses and watching the people around is nice especially insummer day. The only point too much vendors around.
The group had a great time in Istanbul. In all, this was the most wonderful tour.
The Hagia Sophia architecture is very unique in both inside and outside. It survived many years of revolution in the past and offer a great deal of history.
Hagia Sophia a must visit in Istanbul. Don't forget to arrange for tickets in advance as it can be very crowded. Would suggest you take privatetour.net as their guide Taylan is really good and gives detailed history of the place.
Es miatica magica explendida uno de los nombres que le entrege a istanbul
El tour nos llevo al bosforo e hicimos un tour duro mas de media hora y a jn precio muy razonable
The square in front of the Blue Mosque is located on the site of the ancient Hippodrome. No effort is needed to read the history of this place before you take a sit in one of the benches around; then you will appreciate it. It was a centre of the civil activities and social life of the old Constantinople.
I would recommend using this company when you visit Istanbul!
