The Hippodrome, as it is now, isn't so much of a tourist attraction as it is a very nice park with historical columns and fountains. You are going to be right there when you go to see the Blue Mosque anyway, so you might was take it in as you go. It makes a very enjoyable route from the Sultanahmet…
By comparison with other Museums in UK, Europe and USA I rate the Istanbul Archaeology Museum as one of the best museums in the world. IT is currently in renovation so it is only going to get better. The Alexander sarcophagus, sculpted busts, mosaics and cuneiform scripts are as old as I have ever seen. The displays are well done…
It was an absolute pleasure being guided through this wonderful city by Cansu. Her passion for the historical significance of the city was inspiring. Her knowledge of all of the sights was remarkable. And her friendly smile and sense of humour were wonderful.
I’d highly recommend the tour to anybody who visits Istanbul.
if you visit istanbul ,you must visit blue mosque.and you can see the how islamic arts are ,such a mystiqe and spiritual place
Istambul is an amazing city and Hagia Sophia is the hot spot of the visit.
Truly fantastic. Unfortunately today it is not a church anymore (neither a mosque) but a secularized museum.

我们全家到了伊斯坦堡,因为时间有限,决定参加私人的一日游。我们的中文导游大海先生的介绍,生动又风趣,让我们一家人沉浸才伊斯坦堡的华丽丰富的历史中。
Enjoyed the Hagia Sophia much more than the Blue Mosque even though a large area was blocked by the huge scaffolding. The slowly uncovered mosaics and paintings under the plaster made this place a more interesting sight to see. You have to go up to the upper level to see these clearly.
I will start my review from underlining that Hagia Sophia is not very impressive from outside but when you go inside you understand that it's reason nr. 1 why you should stop in Istanbul. It's very symbolic place which witnessed 2 Empires and has elements of both Christian and Muslim religions.
Hagia Sophia is great place to see a historical monument dated so far back, the whole surrounding area makes its a worth while place to visit
