Skip your guidebook and contact this guide for a fabulous travel experience in Istanbul. We were in Istanbul as a stop on a cruise so were there for just a day. Taylan was our tour guide and she was excellent. Not only was he a great guide, but he was also really pleasant and engaging. I would highly recommend this company, and Taylan specifically.
Hippodrome area has been redone and very well the pavement's have been replaced so that no falling on loose bricks can cause a facial meeting with pavement. There are great old historical places of religion just feet's away but few seats to think about how wonderful the world could be without GREED!
El tour privado de istanbul esun sueño hermoso
Hagia Sophia is absolutely breathtaking mosque! Loved seeing the spots were the plaster has come off to reveal beautiful mosaics showing the building's original purpose, as a Christian church.
Can't wait to go back once the views are no longer obstructed by scaffolding and the restoration has ceased.
Hay que ir a turquia u no olviden visitar istanbul junto con sus museos y mezquitas
After having gone through the nightmare of shopping in Egypt a few years ago, my husband and I were a bit nervous about going to the Grand Bazaar. So glad we did! It is lively but not chaotic, and the shop keepers have good humor and are not pushy at all.
What is more classic to Turkey than Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque? The huge hanging medallions are a sight unto themselves. There's a quiet and a peace here that only hallowed places have. I fall in love with Turkey again every time I walk into this place – six different trips at this point!
Hagia Sophia a stunning beauty, an architectural marvel of the world.
The Hippodrome has incredible history, but in its current state, it is nothing more than a nice park. The obelisk and some columns are still there, but that is about it. I would recommend stopping by if you are already in the area to check out the Hagia Sophia Museum or the Blue Mosque.
Hagia Sophia enshrines the history of Constantinople/Istanbul. Take your time and try to imagine past centuries, in spite of the crowd and restuarations.
