The Grand Bazzar in Istanbul was ultra crowded, full of jewelry, tee shirt, cheap hat, spice, cheap bracelet shops and VERY, VERY PUSHY shopkeepers. This is no place for anyone with walking difficulties – or in fact for anyone.

Visiting Topkapi Palace is one of the most enriching tourist experiences, visually & culturally. To wander through its various courts & complex of structures is to imagine yourself stepping back into imperial Ottoman times. The amazing opulence & grandeur of the Palace reflects the unbridled, absolute power and majesty that the Sultan possessed. There is nothing small-scale about Topkapi palace.
Very attractive place….many restaurants are there….the blue mosque snd ayasofia church, a very busy distinct. ?.also a lot of small motels are there…lovely area

Visting the Topkapi Palace you get to see beautiful structures, nature and views. The views overlooking the water are not to be missed and is a welcome area after the crowds in the main viewing area.
The best of all the tours we did. The AC van, guide, driver, and lunch excellent.
I very much enjoyed my visit to Topkapi Palace. The palace is huge, you should schedule at least twice the time your guidebook recommends if your really want to seee it all. Half the appeal of the palace is the beautiful buildings that spread out across the compound. The arcitecture is amazing !
