Hagia Sophia an incredibly impressive architectural wonder. It feels like it will topple over at any minute, making it even more fun! I highly recommend bringing a detailed written guide with you and studying the guide before you go.
Hagia Sophia is truly superb and well worth visiting. Unfortunately for us, our visit coincided with major renovation works inside with scaffolding obscuring a large area. The mosaics are amazing!
Our visit to the Basilica Cistern was an overwhelming surprise as, in terms of my travel experience, we have never visited anything like it before. We had the benefit of a guide and his recounting of the Cistern's role and history added to the experience. Fortunately, there was not much of a crowd when we visited mid-morning. Definitely don't miss…
It was a really pleasure to collaborate with this company and I also hope that we will have the opportunity to collaborate in future as well.
To visit Hagia Sophia is transporting yourself to the sixth century A.D. “Hagia Sophia” means “holy wisdom”. This huge building is impressive. It was originally built as a Catholic cathedral in Constantinople (now Istanbul, Turkey) 1,400 years ago. After the year 1000, when the Orthodox or Eastern Church broke from Rome it was an Orthodox Cathedral until 1453 when Constantinople…
Topkapi is Istanbul’s Alhambra Palace. We had a very good experience, Topkapi is a large site but compact and well presented. The views across to the Bosphorus are breathtaking. A selection of treasures are displayed, the huge diamond is magnificent. The Harem is fascinating, and exists like a town within a town.
If you're going to visit Hagia Sophia and/or the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome will be on your way. Might as well stop by to take some pics.
This tour is well worth the money.. especially if you only have a short amount of time in Istanbul.
Hagia Sophia is really crowded place but what to say!it is very normal!it is so beautiful museum! Older than 1500 years! And still standing like in first day!it is nice mix of islamic and Christians! It is complitly worth it to see it! You will see allways many people standing on line! But it worth it to wait that long!
Hagia Sophia is just simply beautiful… all the way around. The architecture and all its history. Also, it is very easy to find as it is within a very short walking distance from almost every hotel near the center of the city. I most definitely recommend it.
