I would recommend using this company when you visit Istanbul!
Hagia Sophia is lovely, and upon visiting, it becomes clear why people wait hours in line to see it. That said, it's worth going early in the morning (by 9:30 if possible) and trying to avoid the cruise ships.
Travelled to turkey last week and decided to book a private tour for my family, it was excelled. Brilliant sites and ruins, tour guide spoke brilliant English and was a lot of fun.
Topkapi Palace is probably the best attraction of Istanbul. Inside you can see various different thematic areas: Dresses of the Sultan, the treasury, swords and guns in the armory, and many others. Particularly nice is the terrace with the pool and at sunset is a great place to take pictures.
Hagia Sophia an amazing place. It is the size that impressed me the most. An hour was sufficient. We arrived at about 10am, mid-November so no queue for tickets. Later as we were leaving the queue was very long.
Todo de maravilla istanbul es um lugar magico y vale la pena visitarla
A definite must see in Istanbul and hard to miss just opposite of the Hagia Sophia. If you like this you must not miss the Sülemanye Mosque.
As ist is a live Mosque the rules about proper dress code apply.
There are praying times during which the Mosque is closed for tourists. !
We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
Basilica Cistern is a hidden gem beneath the city. Well worth a visit. Value for money and great way to spend an hour. Fascinating and interesting bit of Turkish history.
