Que hermosa ciudad me gustaria poder escribirles todo lo que vi pero la verdad crek quw no me alcanzaran las palabras lo unico que les digo es que contraten un tour privadp veran que les guata muchisimo
Viewing this ancient city is highly recommended. It gives an idea of the size of the city and the way it has grown in the different epriods of history. You get to see two continents at one time and compare the Asian and European shorelines. We were feeling overheated from a morning of sightseeing and the reiver cruise brought some respite.
It is well worth the cost for the views and relaxing experience.
overall it was nice but after you have seen it there isn't really much to do afterwards so it was ok i guess.
Bosporus Strait
The Bosporus Strait (or Bosphorus) connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara. It also separates Asian Turkey from European Turkey (Trace), thus it separates the two continents.
Bordered on both sides by the massive city of Istanbul, the strait is one of the planet’s most strategic waterways.
This body of water serves as a primary highway for the transport of energy to Europe from Russia and western Asia. In 2005 over 55,000 ships, including almost 6,000 oil tankers passed through it, most carrying Russian oil.
Crossed by two large suspension bridges, the strait is just over 2 miles across at its widest point; about 32km (20 miles) in length, and a measured 30-120m (100-395ft) deep.
We did the half day cruise and really enjoyed it. We were picked up and dropped off at the same location which was very helpful for getting around Istanbul.
It was an absolute pleasure being guided through this wonderful city by Cansu. Her passion for the historical significance of the city was inspiring. Her knowledge of all of the sights was remarkable. And her friendly smile and sense of humour were wonderful.
I’d highly recommend the tour to anybody who visits Istanbul.
Hagia Sophia is a wonder of human construction. It's history extends through many cultures, it's a must in Istanbul.
Try the ferry which travels part of the Strait, dropping and collecting passengers. It's a good way to see more of the city, especially how the modern buildings exist beside the well known historical attractions.
Istanbul es una de las ciudades que hay que ver antes de morir por eao no se pierdan eata oportunidad con el tour privado
The Bosphurus is one of the most strategic geographic accidents in the world. It's a narrow strait where Europe meets Asia and Istanbul is beaultifully nested there.
