What is there left to say about the Hagia that hasn't been said before? It is a stunning building with an extraordinary history and should not be missed from your 'bucket list' of things to do/see. We are all fortunate that after the Moslem defeat of the Christians, that they decide not to destroy the building.
Our first stop at the Sultanahmad area before visiting the other sites. Seemed like a big gathering place for groups. The amazing Egyptian Obelisk is eye-catching right in the middle of the square.

We were able to fit in a short layover to get a taste of Istanbul with our family. Yesim was able to give us great insight into the history and archetecture of Istanbul and show us sights that we would not ever have found on our own. Great driver and great guide made our short visit a worthwhile one.

Rising and the Bosphorus bridge connecting Asia to Europe between the two continents. At night, nearly all the people fascinated by beautiful scenery. You can take great pictures.
I like this bridge so I went there four times.
1st by bus, passing on top of the bridge, 2nd I tried to walk across the bridge but cops didn't allow me, 3rd I walked under the bridge and 4th using the boats on Bosporous.
Obviously the best one was the last one.

We were pleasantly surprised by the awesomeness of the Bosphorous bridge. Twice over going and coming we had our things knocked off us, windy, icy chilly windy in summer but so soothing almost therapeutic. Fabulous dont miss it..
