A wish come true for me… to cruise up the Bosphorus with blue water of the Strait and watch the two continents speaking to each other. It can also be treated as the history and culture tour. The trip was a as wonderful as it could have been.
HagiaSophia is a must go when in Istanbul. It's an unique piece of engineering which has been witnessing history for over a 1500 years and is impressively preserved. You can't miss!
We loved the one and a half hour tour we took on the Bosporus, seeing both sides of the river, beginning to the right of the Galata Bridge.
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours they are so expensive!
Wonderful cruise that starts off Galatta bridge and last one and half hour…the cruise could be organised as part of a full day Istanbul sight seeing or you can do on your own..the pier is just by Galatta bridge. Try to pick a sunny day if your visiting schedule to Istanbul permits…I had the cruise on a windy, rainy day…
I had the great pleasure of scheduling a private tour of the straits, and it was lovely. The staff treated me like royalty– beverages, food, and kindness. I learned much about both the historic areas on the straits as well as the new architecture. It is gorgeous!
The hippodrome is just a few steps from the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sophia. The space is especially beautiful when in bloom. And the columns erected at the center of this former horses and chariots race course provide fascinating tales about different periods in Turkey's history.
since byzantine it is a dream view area… you must visit both at the day & night.. there are many restaurants.. if you prefer night clubs ortakoy area & su island are best locations..
The Sultan Ahmet Cami leaves your eyes agagga! Go inside and see the amazing tiles. Look at the architecture. One wonders how it can be so beautiful.
