When you arrive in the port of Kusadasi, your private guide will be waiting to lead you to your own luxury vehicle, during a 20 minute ride to Ephesus, your guide gives you a brief info about the area and about the country.
As you arrive in Ephesus, you will first see the Magnesia Gate, a marvelous example of ancient architecture that once stood tall as an entrance to the city. Begin a downhill walk with your guide into the city’s ruins. The route will take you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater, one of the city’s best-preserved monuments, it is still used today for the local spring festival. It once had seating space for 24,000 people, and it is believed to be the site where St Paul preached to the Ephesians.
After enjoying authentic Turkish cuisine at lunch, you will visit the Temple of Artemis which is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world before returning to port of Kusadasi where you tour concludes.

- Children 6-18 years must be accompanied by an adult
- Please enter your preferred pickup time in the Special Requirements box at the time of booking, and reconfirm 48 hours prior to the tour’s departure time.
- Ephesus requires walking long distances over uneven surfaces, comfortable clothing and closed toe, sensible walking shoes are recommended. Sunglasses and sunscreen are suggested.
- We will ensure your timely return to the Kusadasi or Izmir port for this activity. If you are not returned to the ship in time to board, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call.
Para mi lo mas importante en un viaje es la comodidad, en este tour privado lo encontre y a un nivel mucho mas alto de lo que me esperaba realmente el guia un amor de persona, la pasciencia que nos entrego fue maravillosa y nos explico todo y ademas en espanol ya saben que no en todos los paises se entrega este tipo de servicios pero aca si que la hay y en casi todos los idiomas. Cuando entre por la puerta de la calle del Gimnasio ya estaba emocionado. Estaba en Efeso, una ciudad m铆tica, donde fue sitio de peregrinaci贸n por su templo a la Diosa Artemisa, donde se cree que huy贸 y muri贸 la Virgen Mar铆a (aunque los Ortodoxos dicen que muri贸 en Jerusalem) y desde donde San Juan empez贸 a predicar la palabra de Cristo, vamos historia por todos los lados; el Gran Teatro es exuberante, la calle del Puerto, la V铆a Marm贸rea, la calle de los Curetas, las casas de la Colina, la casa del Amor, la Librer铆a de Celsius, las dos Agoras, el Ode贸n, la Bas铆lica, tanto, tanto, tanto y tan bueno. El hacer algo productivo para la sensibilidad, tu coraz贸n y la cultura no tiene precio y como ejemplo las ruinas de una ciudad m铆tica como es Efeso.
A cinco km tienes la casa donde se cree que vivi贸 y muri贸 la virgen Mar铆a (realmente un sitio con una energ铆a especial), seg煤n vas hac铆a Selcuk tienes un camino que te lleva a la Bas铆lica de los Siete durmientes (otro sitio m铆tico y milagrero cristiano, aunque se demostr贸 despu茅s el porque de “los siete durmientes”) y aconsejo acercarse a Selcuk, un castillo cruzado domina la ciudad, est谩 la Mezquita de Isa Bey y las cuatro piedras que fuera del impresionante templo de Artemisa, raz贸n por la que Efeso era sitio de peregrinaci贸n, una de las siete maravillas del mundo antiguo y que ardi贸 el d铆a que naci贸 Alejandro Magno, y la tumba de San Juan, y la iglesia de San Juan . Me hubiera gustado dar una vuelta por la ciudad, pero las piernas ya no estaban para mas. Desde luego una experiencia 煤nica e irrepetible. los recomiendo de todo corazon son muy buenos en lo que hacen es una linda y exitante experiencia que creo que todos tenemos que vivir y ver en la vida….
