The van was very nice and huge for passengers.
Yesim was interesting, informative and a wonderful guide. Our entire family enjoyed the day. Yesim made adjustments for our daughter’s unexpected injury and wheelchair. We could not have seen ephesus on our own because of logistics and in hindsight we are glad we booked the day trip. Our three teenagers had fun and we were glad to hear Yesim explanations.
Absolutely amazing! It costs more to go here but it is well worth it. This is where archaeology and a commendable museum experience combine to give an insight into the lives and culture of a lost civilisation.
If you've come this far to Ephesus, it would be a shame to miss these. Although not an overly large site, it is very interesting. The stairs go up gradually in the sense that there are platforms at several points to stop at, which makes it easier for those with walking difficulties. I would highly recommend having a tour guide…
Impressive and extensive ruins that you actually walk through and can touch, Not like ruins in Rome that are fenced or roped off to keep you from touching anything. An offered side tour within Ephesus are the Terrace Houses which are enclosed in a large shelter and which you walk through or over on scaffolding and the House of Virgin Mary was great.
We did a private tour of Ephesus, The Terrace Houses and Sirince Vilalge and it was an amazing day and the views in Sirince were great. We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. The private tour was by far one of the best we have ever had, and was comparable to the larger ship tours.
a wonderful guide and a driver
We cannot recommend this tour enough. The transportation was top of the line and our guide and driver were outstanding. We thought it was an excellent value as well.
A private tour is so much better and less expensive than any group tour the cruise ships offer.
I think the only reason that visitors hesitate to see these Terraced Houses are the lack of tour groups at the entrance and the small additional fee. If you are traveling on your own, that is the best reason to go inside and have an amazing look at how wealthy Ephesians lived. Their ornately decorated walls and the intact mosaic…
