These are the most spectacular ruins that we saw when visiting Turkey. If you visit the country and have limited time, these are the ruins that you should visit. There is a lot to see at these ruins and you should allow several hours. We thought that the entrance was awesome, however there were much better sights as we walked through the place.
I would recommend a private guided tour even though there are signs with explanations all along the way.
Our tour guide was right on time picking us up directly at the port. My husband and I were part of a total party of 8, perfect for us to enjoy Ephesus without a bus load of people. This is definitely the way to see Ephesus.
Great private tour. Our guide Koksal was terrific and we were oicked up and dropped off at the port of Kusadasi. Definitely recommend.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
highly recommend..
WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS
Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
We all love a old little beautiful village, ephesus and virgin marys house was absolutely fabulous.
Easily the most interesting ancient site I've ever seen. The extra cost is well worth the money. A super glimpse into ancient (upper class) living.
