We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
我不認為我可以做出更好的選擇。我谢绝了郵輪公司所提供的短途旅行,选择了私人之旅。提前預訂又简单又迅速,而且他们在最短时间内答复所有的問題和電子郵件。导游的中文水平相当好。
The places we visted were Mary’s House, Esphesus ruins, a pottery shop and a leather goods shop. We also stopped for lunch at a beautiful outdoor cafe. The food and the hospitality was great.
a very enjoyable half day, would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
We booked a privatetour while on a cruise. We requested a visit to the Terrace Houses and we are glad we did. It was very interesting to see how the rich lived in ancient times. Most large tour groups don't tour the houses because they are not set up for large groups.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us the best places to get photos of various things. At several attractions, he let us have time to ourselves to walk around.
I highly recommend getting your own, private tour with this company when you dock in Kusadasi. It’s much better than getting on a crowded bus and waiting for other people in your party.
We had a Mercedes van and were very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour…
Visited as part of our Adriatic & Aegean cruise. Docked in Kusadasi and this provided a short driving tour of the area around the Ephesus site.
Buy one of the books that descibes the site as a helpful resource. The site accepts only Turkish Lira or credit card payments. There is a museum in the adjacent community where many of the original artifacts are housed. The site can become crowded during the peak tourist season and is open air so if it is hot, you’ll be out in the sun the whole time.
Most people walk through Ephesus and skip the Terrace Houses. They are missing the best part of the whole site. You also get to see active excavation and restoration work in process. The seven houses now excavated are amazing and give a great glimpse into the life of the elite of Ephesus. The mosaics and art is amazing.
Ephesus was our favorite port of call. Our guide was extremely courteous, knowledgeable about everything from antiquities, to agriculture, and even funny the tour is much less expensive than the ship offerings and far superior in terms of attention.
