the ruins of the ancient city of ephesus are a mustsee for people visiting turkey they are difficult to get to so it’s best to go by private tour.
The price of our private tour was much less than the tours provided by our ship, The Norwegian Jade. It was a great tour.
It took about 30 min easy drive from port of Kusadasi to Sirince, a peaceful village with friendly people and authentic small restaurants.
It's a nice village in a beautiful hilly location. Full of boutique hotels and simple-but-good restaurants. Cooler than the close by Ephesus, I recommend it as a relaxing break from archeology/beach wandering.
thank you so much for an amazing trip
Great guides. Great information! Don’t take the cruise line tours, they are so expensive! Save money! Meet fun people!
Once beautiful, serene and picturesque village turned into a tourist trap. The museum (once a school) was somewhat interesting, other than that, nothing special.
We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time… It was a pleasure dealing with you and again, thank you so much for an amazing tour.
This former greek/turk village has been conserved by the Turks. and has a Armenian population as well. A bit shabby but the relative conservation of the village is worth the visit. You can buy saffron and thyme all grown in the surrounding hills. Try some fruit wines.
I was the only person from my hotel to take this trip. It wasn't really promoted, just a black and white photocopied leaflet, in my welcome pack at the hotel. I was collected by a coach from another hotel, with their guests/guide. For me, this was my highlight. It is like time has stood still here.
