When you arrive the airport of Izmir your private guide will be waiting to lead you to your own luxury vehicle, during a 40 minute ride to Ephesus, your guide gives you a brief info about the area and about the country, you can relax and enjoy the cooled soft drinks and appetizers.
As you arrive in Ephesus, you will first see the Magnesia Gate, a marvelous example of ancient architecture that once stood tall as an entrance to the city. Begin a down hill walk with your guide into the city’s ruins. The route will take you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater, one of the city’s best-preserved monuments, it is still used today for the local spring festival. It once had seating space for 24,000 people, and it is believed to be the site where St Paul preached to the Ephesians.
Continue to Temple of Artemis one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Visit the Kirazli Village after enjoying the Turkish cuisine at lunch in the Kirazli Village, you will pick some fruits from the trees and talk of about nature of olives. This was the perfect tour for us as we only had 8 hours in Ephesus. We were picked up from the airport at 8:30am. our tour guide, Yesim, was great. She gave us plenty of time at each stop to have a good look around and was fun and informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone with limited time in Ephesus..

Le lieu est superbe, et même si bondé, notre plaisir n’en a pas été gâché. Nous avons été fascinés par la beauté et la magie du lieu. La visite se fait dans le sens de la descente et l’apothéose en est la bibliothèque de Celsius admirablement bien conservée. L’amphithéâtre qui pouvait accueillir jusqu’à 24 000 personnes est à couper le souffle également. Le plus rapidement possible nous en ephèse de nouveau très beau le tour privé et les guides les je recommande sont très bons dans son travail
The guide was very flexible being a private vehicle they would stop anywhere we asked them to. It was amazing experience with these great people.
The Virgin Mary’s home was interesting, but the tour of Ephesus was fascinating and very memorable. Fortunately our tour contact suggested we also visit the Terrace Homes, another great experience. Our guides were personable and gave us great insight into that period of time. We had a lunch of Turkish favorite dishes in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Travelled to turkey last week and decided to book a private tour for my family, it was excelled. Brilliant sites and ruins, tour guide spoke brilliant English and was a lot of fun.
