we had a great trip thank you very much
Went to see as part of an excursion from a cruise. Very interesting and worth the visit. History is very intriguing. Get some Holy Water and leave a message/wish. Something to definitely see in a lifetime.
This is said to be where John the apostle brought Mary to keep her safe and where she spent her last years. It is interesting to see and is only a short taxi ride from Ephesus ruins. It would be a very tough walk there though.

Our guide Yesim made this tour extremely worthwhile. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. I would highly recommend.
This was our first ever visit to the Virgin Mary's House and the way people were treated, it will be our last. Due to the volume of people attending the sight, the staff on hand just rush you through with no consideration for where people have come from and to what this place means to people.
A small stone house with no photos allowed though you can take them from the door. Since no one knows where Mary was buried, it's an interesting speculation that she died here. If you're a good Catholic, you probably want to go.
This was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide Gokhan was sensational. He provided great wit and information. Ephesus is a enchanting place to visit and will blow you mind. Lunch was really nice at the restaurant too. A real must!
We had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend
