We had a half day tour of the ruins of Ephesus. We had a great time. Thanks
This place is quit nice and very pretty. It is out of the way and I'm not sure I would have gone, had I done research on it prior to going. It is said to be where Mary spent the last years of her life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Since we were not able to make it to the Vatican, this more than made up for it. a beautiful setting with a lot of history. Make sure you bring along a pen and paper in order to write your intentions and attach to the wall below the Virgin Mary House.
Great tour, excellent guide, fantastic would highly recommend
Small group which makes a difference when visiting a large places and even though small group appreciated the hearing pieces from the group leader.
To learn that it was discovered only a hundred plus years ago after a nun had a vision of the abode of Virgin Mary, is awe inspiring. This is where she had come to live, finally, with John the Baptist, in order to avoid persecution after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his ascension to heaven.
It is immaculately maintained,…
This is the perfect amount of time to see everything at Ephesus, especially with small kids.
Ephesus tours was fantastic. they picked us up at the ship and we began a day of absolute perfection. we had toured Ephesus before on a prior cruise and used the tour from the cruise line. This time around wanted a more personal feel to our tour. There were specific places we wanted to visit and places we wanted to go back too.
I would go back and do the same tour all over again. the amount of history, customs and real life experiences we recieved made it a very special day.
We were travelling on a cruise ship with 3 couples and booked a private tour our tour guide seemed to get us to each place before the big crowds arrived thanks.
I was not convinced that Mary did ever live there despite three Popes claiming that the site is genuine.
