We were very pleased with our tour to Ephesus and the Terrace Houses for sure, include this in your tour!! We were concerned because we requested it only about 5 days before we left for our cruise. They responded very quickly and we confirmed the reservation. We also appreciated that we were able to pay after the trip, so we did not have to worry about paying then no one showing up.
This was a well laid out site, with a small chapel, built up from from what was once a ruin of a few bricks from the ground. You can see the old bricks and where the new ones begin.
Enjoyed our brief visit there. A very spiritual place!
This place is very tranquil and spritual and leaves you with a lovely feeling when you visit
I would definitely recommend this tour!
Although the Vatican has accepted this as the location of the Virgin Mary's house, the fact that the structure is no longer standing makes it more of a replica. It was worth a visit and we enjoyed the location but do not hold it on par with other pilgrimage locations.
We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
Hundreads and thousands of tourists parading around the house built in 1st century and nobody knows if this is really THE place.
the house was a replica of a period structure where Mary may have lived. interesting if you are willing to take that leap of faith, and stand in a long line.
This is a hike up a mountain. The house of Mary does not charge any.!
