Koressos (Turkish: Bülbüldağı, "Mount Nightingale") in the vicinity of Ephesus, 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from Selçuk in Turkey. The house was discovered in the 19th century by following the descriptions in the reported visions of…
IT was not crowded when we went. It seemed like a place of pilgrimage not a tourist attraction per sec. Beautiful setting. Only need 30 minutes there.
House of Virgin Mary – the most sacred place! And the moment I began to write great cover great excitement that I will tell the House of the Holy Mother. Unique, beautiful, pure, miraculous place! I've been there three times, and three times – I do not know how it happened, but the crowd of tourists seemed to disappear.
This place is not near the center of Selcuk, you can not go there walking. You must go by car, taxi or a private shuttle (what we did).
The house (which was reconstructed) is small and your visit is very short (and no photographs inside the house). The place is nice, but there are not too much to do.
Highly recommended to everyone, religious or not, this place tells a lot of History. the place is very serene and has a calming effect. I loved it.
