This is one of the worse paid attraction i been to in my 2 weeks road trip around Turkey. Not only is the drive there out of the way, this area is really small and the fee charged was 15 Lira per pax. Especially if you are not a christian, my advice would be best to skip this altogether.
Visited Virgin Mary's House and found it surprisingly peaceful, which surprised me.
had a wonderful time thank you
highly recommend..
The Virgin Mary House can be visited either before or after you go to Ephesus since it is in the same area (just a little futher along the road). The benefit of going afterwards is that there are nice leafy places to sit down for a cool drink or something to eat and it is quite relaxed there.
Well preserved home with great historical significance. The foundation dates cack to Mary but the stone house is a much later restoration

We arrived in Kusadasi by Cruise Ship and went on a bus tour that included the Virgin Mary's House. When we arrived, there were many other tour groups so the line up was long to visit the house. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. A church service to the side of Virgin's Mary house was in session and we listened…
