The setting peaceful and serene in the beautiful wooded hills near Ephesus. However, in my opinion it really isn't worth the crowds, the wait, or money to go. It cost us 50tl for a cab (round trip with a 30 minute wait while we stood in line to go through the one-room house—there's no other way to get there.
A very humbling place, as most of the religious sites are.
thank you for a wonderful tour of ephesus it truly was the best part of my vacation.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
It is really worth seeing. Restroom facilities at the entry are limited and very crowded. There are also restrooms near the exit and they are not crowded.
This site is well worth visiting – light a candle and pray. It is a fifteen minute drive out of Selcuk and spend about half an hour here away from the hurly burly of Ephesus.
But nonetheless worth it. There is a spiritual feel to visiting this small house high above Ephesus in the mountains. You follow a line into the tiny house, which feels like a chapel. You are in and out in less than 3 minutes. But again, you feel something here….
We had a very nice lunch there as part of the tour a super experience I highly recommend this tour
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
Thanks so much for the great day
