Very peaceful, green to of the hill. Very important place to be a Hadji. Park is available.Very nice atmosphere
Wife and I didn't have to kneel and pray to feel gods presence there.
We observed the same overwhelming effect on fellow visitors – incredible experience!
Of course, spirituality and one's experience at Mary's house is unique and personal to the individual.
Great private tour. It really made visiting ephesus easy.door to door service. I took the deluxe full day tour which was very informative. There’s a lot to see and I’m glad I had a full day and a great guide.
Great way to tour Ephesus. Total experience exceeded my expectations. Guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, lunch in restaurant at selcuk was included in cost and was very good salad, entree, and dessert plus wine included. Overall, it was a very relaxng and enjoyable day.
The coach trip up the mountain was worth it for the views plus the option of stopping at the huge golden stature of the Virgin Mary. We got there reasonably late in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy.
Once there it's relatively a short walk to the house/chapel. There was a small queue to get in and inside it…
We did a private half day tour of Ephesus, We really enjoyed Ephesus and the terrace houses. Thanks
It costs around 7 dollars and it's probably a half hour line to go into a 1 room house with no decoration, not to mention it takes about 10 minutes to drive up the mountain it is on. Unless you are interested in seeing it or feel religiously motivated, it really isn't worth your time.
This is where the Virgin Mary lived the last days of her life. I am not into religion but I have always feel a nice feeling when I come here. A number of Popes have come to this sit and hundreds of tourists come here every day. There is a small spring and you are invited to put your special…
We went after 5pm and judging from the other reviews, time really matters. There were very few people around, and the minute we stepped in, we can feel a sense of peace, serenity and magic enveloping us. The presence of Virgin Mary is really quite strong, even though I am not a person of the Christian or Cathoic.
Done a half day trip to ephesus, it really is amazing, and steeped in history. They are still uncovering ruins to this day. It gives you a real insight into time gone by.!
