The trip was very well organized and our guide was excellent. We didn’t have to wait in long lines even though the ephesus was crowded. Our guide was very knowlegable and the little mini-headsets made the tour most enjoyable.
We would definitely recommend this private tour
I have this little goal to make religious pilgrimages in some of the holy places in the world. i have been in the Lourdes, Fatima and Jasna Gora and the size of the House of Virgin Mary and its location astound me compared to the other 3 I've been to. While the 3 sites have magnificent cathedrals, huge grounds.
Our guide was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and honest, and we had a very careful chauffeur as well. We would certainly recommend the young gentleman, Selcuk Senkan, as a guide if you are in Ephesus Turkey.
Have a visit there…it's up in the green cool hilly mountain.
Walk 3 minute from parking lot along a beautiful garden to the house. No photo inside the house, but you can pray there …it's calm and peaecful inside. There's a statue of Mary (Immaculate) inside. Outside, you can light a candle for free. Then visit the spring water downstairs…
Highly recommend for his expertise and a positive can do attitude. The shops are generally too small to allow a wheelchair inside, but some goods are displayed outside.
It was a great day with so much to see in such a beautiful, clean city!
Our guide was a great guide full of historical knowledge as well as answering questions about the land and people.
I especially liked the little village Sirence that we visited. The people were so friendly and the village gave us the opportunity to purchase gifts to take home that were handmade.
The visit to the home where it is believed Mary spent her last days was a true gem and highlight of my tour. If you believe or not, this is a must see if you are traveling to Turkey. Get there early to avoid any lines. You will not be dissapointed.
It is an added cost if you book ephesus. The church is small and a long que. The waters you can fill bottles with to take away is like a jumble sale scrap, people pushing and shoving and beeing greedy and taking lots and not considering others. You can tie paper on a tree and make a wish.
Thank you very much we really had a great time. Thanks
