We would not have enjoyed Turkey as much as we did if we had not taken this tour. The tour picked us up at the cruise terminal. We knew the sites we were going visit but our tour guide suggested the order to visit that would suit us best.
cuando mí esposa y yo entramos en la casa, los dos extremos de un sentimiento emocional, tan fuerte, que se conmovió hasta las lágrimas mientras que orabamos.
They offer a compelling argument that John would have taken Mary to Ephesus. It's a peaceful spot and I would like to think they she did spend her final years here.
I would definitely recommend this tour!
I wouldn't go so far as to give this a negative review, but it was really not near as interesting as what I expected given that it's one of the top spots to see in this area, outside of Ephesus of course. It was completely packed with tour buses and masses of people..
I'm not sure we buy the story that this is where Mary lived, but if you are visiting Ephesus then it is worth the stop. Small house/shrine. Be sure and take a bottle and get some Holy water to bring home.
Our guide was truly a blessing! She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. The vehicle we used was beautiful and very comfortable.
If you are not spiritual, then do not bother. If you are then you should get something out of seeing the place where Mary lived. Long lines to walk through a small house.
After Ephesus trip, we want to Mary House , but there was no way except taxi. We paid taxi fare and went there. I'm not interesting this attraction, becasue I'm not Catholic. The house had an atmosphere of solemnity and sacredness, but there was too small as attraction.
This was my favorite private tour of the trip, thank you
