My wife and I recently returned from a 10 day cruise. Based on ratings of this site, we decided to book a private tour of ephesus instead of opting for the cruise option. Excellent…the other couple on our tour did not show so we had the guide to ourselves and this of clourse meant more time exploring the area of Ephesus. I have been to the ephesus four time previously and I saw more this time than on any other previous occasion.

Great. Knowledgable guide. Would recommend a full day at Ephesus so that you aren’t rushed. I only saw the front of the Terrace houses on the half day ephesus tour.
What an absolutely fantastic day it was my 38 th birthday and I couldn’t have spent it in any better way! Our guide Selcuk was very knowledgeable and entertaining, lunch was delicious and Ephesus magical especially the Terrace Houses and House of Virgin Mary. Could have stayed forever.:) All in all a very well organised private tour.
We had a Mercedes van and were very comfortable. I highly recommend this tour…
our guide yesim efficiently guided us through the crowds making sure that our small group of 8 arrived before the larger buses thus allowing us to get the full experience. our lunch at the carpet school was both tasty and enlightening none of us actually understood the process of collecting silk or the painstaking job of making those beautiful works of art. We wish that we were there to purchase but not this time.
It could not have been a better choice for us. There were no surprises we had a great time.
