I think that there must be a little. It of troglodyte in me, maybe it's the leprechaun in my past but this place fascinated me. The chambers and narrow stairways carved from the rock that seem to go down forever! Each level opens out into rooms and then there are other rooms off them.
I've heard about the caves a lot before actually visiting Cappadocia. The landscape was magical, one cannot believe that the caves are not man made. This attraction is certainly recommended for all those who want to embrace mother nature and see the way of living of early settlers.
Well preserved, off the main road location makes this church definitely worth a visit. We went when it was closing and had the entire church to ourselves. Really worth visiting.
The trail is well marked once you get onto it. It is relatively flat, follows a creek bed, so is the perfect place to be in the heat of the day.
Great choice of dining at the end of the walk; lots of monasteries and churches to view on the gully sides. Food is more expensive than normal in Turkey,…
Estuvo todo de pelicula lo volvere a repetir el tour privado de capadocia sin duda alguna

An unique experience! The huge underground city is full of history and good old survival technics. Highly recommended to go with a good guide, to avoid getting lost and understand what and how every room was being used. The Christians lived here for a long time and the daily livelihood were well planned, designed and built.
Of the many, many beautiful cave churches in Cappadocia, this one has not been restored on the inside and the frescoes are very damaged. From the outside it looks like a gnome cottage and stands alone in the valley where it is. You can give this one a miss with no problem. Many others are far more beautiful.
the multiple levels were more than i had anticipated. more extensive than other cave areas in other countries.
