The rooms were cozy but for senior citizens, going up the stairs to the upper floors can be really trying.

Cappadocia is one of the truly great experiences. Turkey is a welcoming and friendly place and Cappadocia just continues that. The whole area is fantastic and a must visit.
Cappadocia is just so unique and magical..we travelled in June with our children and had an amazing time..if you’re ever going to visit Turkey , cappadocia should not be missed. The ballon ride over the rock formations was very exciting.. Granted…it’s one of those must see places in the whole wide world !

I went here with a tour group and it was extremely crowded. It was interesting to see how people lived, but with so many people there it felt like a fire trap. If you don't like small spaces and crowds skip this place!
And now for something completely different to the fairy chimney landscape.
Put on your hiking boots or sturdy shoes and tackle this walk through the valley.
It's truly different – small cave churches on the on hand, lush scenery along the river.
The best food I'd had in days was at the restaurant at the edge of the river.
