Antalya,
Beautiful beach quite pebbly making it difficult for access by wheelchair however they do have paths leading down xx lovely location and watching the boats in the sea was lovely nearby harbour beautiful x
Just a few footsteps from the old town, there are loads of ferries offering a 1-2 hours ride along the coastline but it's quite expensive. Loads of restaurants along the harbour. Shops in the old town are not of the best quality I reckon you will get the same piece in the old bazaar which is on the other side…
I lived in this part of Antalya for one and a half month, and it was amazing. Kaleici means inside a castle, and that's just what this lively part of Antalya is, it's surrounded by walls from an old castle. The narrow streets and the old buildings harmonize well with the ancient ruins, the climbing plants and the palm trees….
Pebbled, walkways, narrow paths – you need to admire how the SUVs and trucks get round the narrow streets. Easy to walk around and can stop at any restaurants for a drink…. Not noisy and nice place for a relax holiday
Not as many old buildings as I thought but had a good time walking around the streets looking at old Ottoman houses, old doors and architecture, the old mosques that had been churches, and walking to Hadrians gate. In the evenings in the centre there is a fountain display which is worth waiting for.
Down the steps are the renovated…
Lots of lovely boats to view. U can wonder around or sit and have an icrecream or a beer. U can also book boat trips from the harbour.
Great bargains on ALL THE SHOPS.
The restaurants could be more organized.
we missed an indian or even a chinese/Thai restaurant
Great beach a short tram away from Kalechi – pebbly with clear waters. Plently of beach cafes to choose – beds and umberella are 10TL each which is the same anywhere. Some have loud party atmosheres if you are looking for that. We opted for the quiet chilled ones instead.
As I live now in Konyaalti near the beach can definitely review the beach ;))
It's stretched on a few kilometres where you can swim in every single part of it. Made by stones makes the walking into the sea
bit hard. You will need to get a local beach shoes that you can swim with. The sea is very…
Great place to wander around and shop, eat & drink. Shop keepers are a bit pushy though. The harbour is also very nice to wander around. Boat trips are about 20 Lira for 1 hour trip.
