A pebbly beach but very clean. In the summer months there are many bars and restaurants open and the people are very friendly.
No need to go and see an ancient city when you can shop all you want in one! Do not accept the first price they give you, pay around 2/3 of that, no more. And compare prices. Don't feel special when they give you tea and tell you you are an angel…they'll tell the next woman the same 🙂

Had a meal at the Kaleici restaurant, stunning view up on top. Loads of shops nearby with all fake goods for sell. Great weather the day I was there, got stunning view of the pier dock and the old town area.
We stayed at the Hillside Su Hotel which is situated on this beach. It is a pebble beach but the water is so clear! It is absolutely lovely to swim in. It is very deep so kids need to be supervised.
Liked the haggling and freebie tea & turkish delight
