Antalya is a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. It is Turkey’s biggest international sea resort, located on the Turkish Riviera.
In 2011 the city had a population of 964,886 and the metropolitan municipality 1,041,972. Antalya was the world’s fourth most visited city by number of international arrivals in 2011, with 10.5 million annual visitors. Most of these tourists were changing planes or moving between the airport and the cruise lines.
Antalya,
very nice boat ride, we saw beautiful waterfalls, swim there, we in the open sea.nice experience. I recommend also for families with children.
If your good at haggling this is a great place to go even if you don't want to buy any think its good just to see all the different stalls fascinating
A basic cruise will last about 45 mins and should not be too expensive. Compare prices for several operators, then decide.
It's also a nice walk in the evening, with the harbour lights and peaceful scenery.
Rocky beach, it is different in a way, Mediterranean experience i would say but i personally just enjoy it very early in the mornings when it is almost empty and crystal clear.
Good for a stop at a roadside cafe to check out the city skyline
Boat trip was good then the market was an experience. Defo recommend. I liked the market and disliked how hot it was
Hadrian's gate can be found just off the main thoroughfare but is better to go through the old town by the flutted minaret and the truncated minaret. An endless alleyway of small shops and bars, more interesting than the main shopping areas. The gate itself is very well preserved and well worth a visit.
This harbour is well worth a visit. It has lots of windy roads down to the harbour where you can go on a boat trip if you want to and it is very peaceful.
A nice port and time to haggle beyond your hotel. The nearer the port basin, the higher everything costs
travelled oround Europe and seen lots of really good and interesting Clock and bell towers. This is not really interesting and a look a photo and move to the next point of interest is a must.
