He did get bored so I suggest that if you have an interest in this sort of thing then read about it and build it up with the children with activities after it so they feel it was fun(some pre-activity hype as well).

I stayed in Tutav Adalya Hotel, right on the edge of the market. The entire market is in the ruins of the original city. It has so many shops and restaurants. After 3 days I still found new streets. Check prices in the city before buying in the market. Do not be fooled, they take advantage of tourist, so bargain…
If you are looking for a bargain at this bazaar, you may be disappointed. The prices were considerable higher that the bazaar in Istanbul. If you are travelling to Istanbul, I would wait.

Wow, what a great place, like a market in places, restaurants, bars etc all set out on small winding streets with hardly a car in sight would go back in an instant.
Love it! Love it Love it! We have visited many times and discover new places each time. Make sure you visit Bakery in centre nr Mediterranea hotel- tea and baklava amazing! Lots of lively bars and live music every night . Great social mix both ages and nationalities.

It depends what you're looking for but we found better bargains in the shops in Antalya. It's very crowded and the sellers do pressurise you but I suppose that's all part of the experience.
