every thing near this gate is very nice
There are a lot of tours available for really cheap in the harbor area. There are so many restaurants with fresh fish and other marine animals, that its hard to choose just one! The people are friendly and there is a restaurant which also houses its own private beach.
Fantastic if you like shopping and browsing.
Just be prepared to be harassed though.
The harbor and boat trips are worth a visit
Bit of Turkish culture and a pleasant stroll at night down to the harbour visiting dozens of stalls and running the gauntlet of shopkeepers with haggling over prices par for the course.
Lots of activity in the early to late evening around the clock tower!

actually there are two long beaches in Antalya, Lara Beach and Konyaalti Beach. it is not easy to compare them but, Konyaalti beac is longer and Lara Beach is more sandy…
Super place to shop, not too much bother, plenty to barter for and great quality, lots of choice and a great Kebab.
Old town is very nice, nice shops, beautiful little port, nice hotels and restaurants. In July is very hot, bring lots of water. As a whole Turkey is full of history and natural beauty, thanks mainly to Greeks and to mother nature.
