Antalya,
Kaleici is an atmospheric area of Antalya- full of little boutiques , restaurants, cafes– with pressing invitations to come and look -'no need to buy ' ! Most of the buildings near the harbour date from the 80s- when I first visited in the late 60s the only buildings were a derelict factory and some sheds where locals repaired boats-…
Great fun to haggle for fake designer goods, but such good quality.Everybody speaks English and wants to sell you something,You can get things really cheap here if you stand your ground.
A great pebble beach – which we reached by tram from the old town of Kalechi.
There are a number of beach clubs – where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for 10 TL – but make sure you like hardcore dance beats, as they are relentlessly pumped out. You can however go a bit further down and just put…
Lovely part to walk around, Nice harbour to sit at. Very picturesque. Although we did not eat in Kaleici, there were plenty of places to eat and drink. A very enjoyable day out
liked everything about this resort and the hotel was extremely fantastic. the anamation team were brillint, moussa, uagr, yasmin and john were most amasing ones there. the intertanment was absoullty fantastic.
Standing up to my shoulders in the sea, and still be able to see my toes clearly, that means something 😉
Pretty spot. Some nice bars and restaurants overlooking the spectacular view at the top of the harbour.
We walked thought the bazaar in late November in the off season. Most stalls were selling the same ware. What really put me off was the vendors constantly calling out to get you in. Really irritating.
If you visit Antalya by plane or by car you have the famous beach that you enjoy with nice sun and weather ,you can also visit the interesting archaeological museum .the old town called by Kaleici is one of the busiest place in Antalya , but don't miss the waterfalls few kms away from the town . have nice vacation
The old harbour is now being "used" as a marina for most of the boats who take tourists on various trips. The area is very clean and leads to lots of little streets leading back into Kaleici.
