The big tip is to try and go completely private. Many of the large tour companies offer private tour and they are going to charge a significant amount of money for the tour guide. However, many locations offer self-guided tours and therefore you have the ability to supply your own tour guide. Easily Book your guided private Ephesus tours, to see all the treasures of Ephesus Turkey. It's often said that Turkey has more ancient cities and classical ruins than does Greece. Well, it's true, and the Aegean coast holds a great number of sites, including Ephesus, the grandest and best-preserved of them all.
“Turkey is indeed one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Istanbul is the best city to visit for a tourist ! It has all the wonders one would like to see…. These mosques are only few sites of interest…. The Orient and the Occident breath together… The modern runs after the antiques… The Black Sea, the amazing Bosphorous and the Marmara Sea hugs Istanbul like an amazing lover…The Goden Horn kisses her shores and her seven hills are the guardian of her undeniable beauty….”

Istanbul es una ciudad magica y hay que visitrla el tour privado es ideal para eso
We were lucky and to get a private half day tour “Istanbul Byzantine” and were grateful for our very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He picked us up from the hotel and we were driven directly to the Blue mosque to enter without queuing. We learn a lot about the culture of a different religion and to understand and respect it. I wouldn’t recommended it any other way. Our guide also pointed out some trustworthy vendors at the great Bazaar and even drove us to the ferry pier. Fantastic service and well worth the money. Very recommendable!
Topkapi Palace was incredible! Get there just before 9AM and choose either Harem or Privy Room. Walk directly to your choice and enjoy the ten to fifteen minutes where you have the place to yourself. Be prepared to spend at least a half day in this place (bare minimum and so worth it).
You cannot visit Hagia Sophia just once….We visited this Historic and Holy Place while on a privatetour from a Cruise Ship…To be in a massive structure built aprox in the 7th century in Constantinople is overwhelming in a good way…..We will be back and do our own tour of this and the other sites in Ancient Constantinople ( Istanbul)…
Basilica Cistern an absolute fascinating underground structure. It is a great site to walk though and think about how long ago it was constructed. It was also used as a scene for a James Bond movie.
The Grand Bazzar in Istanbul was ultra crowded, full of jewelry, tee shirt, cheap hat, spice, cheap bracelet shops and VERY, VERY PUSHY shopkeepers. This is no place for anyone with walking difficulties – or in fact for anyone.
I arranged a tour before going on a Mediterrian cruise. We did an amazing tour of Istanbul and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a memorable and informative day!
Hagia Sophia is lovely, and upon visiting, it becomes clear why people wait hours in line to see it. That said, it's worth going early in the morning (by 9:30 if possible) and trying to avoid the cruise ships.
