The Ottoman empire was something to behold and if you are looking for the history there's no better than here. A great Topkapi Palace to visit but make time for it as there's a lot to see and take in. A must see.
When you walk into the Hipperdrome, you can not vison as to what it looked like in the past. After doing some research, we found more information at the Istanbul Archaelogy Museum. It was in the past a place of great moments, just imagine horse racing here. It is also a great place to come.
I couldn't imagine going to Istanbul and not going to Topkapi Palace. Allow several hours at least or even longer and enjoy a lunch in the palace or take a sandwich and have a picnic on the lawns. It is simply amazing. make sure you see it all.
