We all had a great time, plenty to see and do. What a wonderful day, thank you so much.
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The Microlight was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money and great friendly and experienced pilot.
We had just visited Ephesus and Mary's House was next on the itinerary. We'd read a bit about how the house had been located and it seemed like an interesting story. There was a queue to get into the house itself and we spent a few minutes chatting to the people in front and taking a couple of photos.
I am with the other reviewers….if this is indeed the house where she spent her last days, then it is worth seeing. It only takes 5 mins to walk through the house and then some time to pay respects at they prayer wall and holy water. The gift shop is small and there is a cafe selling snacks and drinks…
Thank you Yesim for an incredible time. Your knowledge is most impressive. For anyone who reads this and is planning a trip to Turkey, you can not go wrong with using this company. We were never rushed or pressured into buying anything and even got to see a fashion show. This is something I never thought I would enjoy but it was pretty cool. When going to Ephesus do not miss out on the Terrace Houses they are most impressive and unbelievable. They are the homes of the very rich of the day with indoor hot and cold water, heated homes, indoor bathrooms and even a sauna with heated floors. The rug making tour was very cool, the lunch was awsome and got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thanks
Great. Knowledgable guide. Would recommend a full day at Ephesus so that you aren’t rushed. I only saw the front of the Terrace houses on the half day ephesus tour.
As the 30 tour buses queued up I thought oh no, what have I done. The guide went through the history of why it is supposed to be Mary's house (basically based on word of mouth from what. locals said 500+AD). It has also been totally rebuilt, Since multiple earthquakes. It's a fantastic money sinner for the locals.
We booked a private tour of Ephesus from our cruise ship. The tour guide and that air conditioned van made a huge difference.
I wanna start this review by pointing out that we are catholics so, this may have an even more special meaning to us. The grounds surrounding the House are beautiful and we were lucky enough to get there early and beat the crowds that arrive usually at 9:30am. It was very deep spiritual experience for us.
I think this place of pilgrimage would really wow someone who believes and it was okay but personally, it didn't really appeal to us. The drive there was lovely and we enjoyed the scenery .
Refreshments were very expensive.
