Saludos a todos desde uruguay estuvimos en capadocia y me fascino todo lo que vi y los del tour privado se comportaron de maravilla
Hagia Sophia is one of the ‘must see’ in Istanbul. Exterior doesn’t look so attractive compared to interiors. Go to upper floor and while doing so see horses used to go there in Byzantine empire. The huge area is capped by a dome of epic proportions and it’s treasured by 2 religions.
I love the grand bazaar but there are a few things you need to know before going in. Know where the gates are because they can be hard to find, know you need to bargain for everything (haggling is part of the fun), it can be overwhelming since the Grand Bazaar sees on average 300,000 people a day.
We were lucky and to get a private half day tour “Istanbul Byzantine” and were grateful for our very friendly and knowledgeable guide. He picked us up from the hotel and we were driven directly to the Blue mosque to enter without queuing. We learn a lot about the culture of a different religion and to understand and respect it. I wouldn’t recommended it any other way. Our guide also pointed out some trustworthy vendors at the great Bazaar and even drove us to the ferry pier. Fantastic service and well worth the money. Very recommendable!
I would definitely recommend this tour!
Gunes was an excellent guide for our day, the small group interaction was refreshing. Put this on your list !
The line was incredible the day we were there so very happy we booked the tour. Well worth the money. Lunch was quite good also.
Ephesus – the city established in 10 BC is a must visit for anyone having an interest in history. What is amazing is the way one can almost walk through the streets of the city and imagine how the city was organised in those time by seeing the ruins on both sides.
The site is surprisingly easy to access from Selcuk (5 km) or Kusadasi (15 km)
Be sure to take ample sun protection and water on the tour since one cannot get anything in the middle of the ruins,
would strongly recommend
Instead of taking the ships tour we booked a private tour and it was a great day.
