The Hippodrome is gives a nice glimpse into life in the Byzantine Era. With the German Fountain on one end, and the impressive Obelisk of Theodosius at the other end, it is a nice place to take a stroll and envision what took place here.

Hagia Sophia was our first visit. You get to use a different line with the pass. You avoid the crowd and it's much faster to get in. Also, note that entrance fees are waived for children below 12 years of age.
fui a turquia dos veces y las dos fueron muy distintas la primera vez tome un tour de dia completo con esta misma agencia fue maravilloso pero dejenme decirles que esta segunda vez tuvimos que tomar uno de solo medio dia ya que fuimos con un crucero y dejenme decirles que la verdad no fue una gran diferencia ya que sea dia completo o medio dia la atencion el la misma los coches son iguales y los guias tambien tengan la seguridad que volvere por una tercera…

Basilica Cistern is very interesting to see and a nice cool place to sit for a snack. There was a long line to get in but it went quick.
