My wife and I recently returned from a 10 day cruise. Based on ratings of this site, we decided to book a private tour of ephesus instead of opting for the cruise option. It was a great decision on our part. In booking the tour, all questions were answered promptly, and we were provided all the needed information. We met our guide at the dock. I would highly recommend.
I highly recommend her for anybody planning to have a sightseeing tour in Istanbul. The city is amazing, but having someone take you around and put the history and architecture into context made it even more so. We were extremely pleased with our guide Taylan. I would recommend this tour to anybody who is visiting Istanbul.
A trip to Istanbul without seeing Hagia Sophia would be a big mistake. This place is breathtakingly beautiful. Its shear size is difficult to fathom until you are right in the centre of it. Its intricate detail in every column, the mosaic work, and its marble work (which looks like a gigantic quilt with varying patterns) makes it one the most impressive places of worship I’ve visited.
O me, the atmosphere there in Hagia Sophia so special, sacred, fair… Right now, there are huge scaffolds standing in there on the left side, which is a bit of a pity for those who cannot come like twice a year..
From the moment our tou guide picked us up at the hotel until she dropped us in the afternoon she was helpful and flexible. It was a great tour planned to accommodate a hot day. Great value for money.
