Turkey, wedged between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean with the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers flowing through it to Iraq, as often mentioned in the Bible, is a Cradle of Civilization and an important center of trade.
The land now called Turkey played a major role in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The birthplace of the Christian Church may be Jerusalem, but Turkey is where the Church first thrived. Three great Apostles, Paul, Peter and John, are all linked with churches in Minor Asia (today’s Turkey). Approximately two-thirds of the 27 books in the New Testament were written to or from churches in Turkey.

My husband I were on the seven day tour
We had a blast !!
I wanted my children to see the place where Virgin Mary had lived. DUring this tour finally we had the chance to go there. We had a great informal time..
Seeing The temple of the artemis was great. I can almost say it was the best of the trip. At the end it is one of the seven wonders of the world. While ın Turkey and in the region of ephesus. It is a ‘must see!’
It was a great fourteen day trip. Very well organized!
Cappadocia was Awesome. If we were given another day we would happily spend more time there.
My family and I were on a private tour for about two weeks. We were taken to the most historical places in Turkey from Virgin mary to Ephesus Cappadocia and many more. And not to forget Ankara the capital. Beside of seeing the historical sites what we liked was seeing the most important and busiest cities in Turkey. It was adventerous and so much fun.
We had a daily tour in Istanbul. IT was great. Really humorous guide we had.
WOWWW!!! I had friends who mentioned Turkey was the best country in the world, after seeing especially IStanbul I finally agreed with them.
Our tour included visiting the temple of the Artemis. But of the Seventh wonder of the world only a pillar is left. FOr those wondering yes we did see the pillar close by.
Tarsus was like a dream. My family also enjoyed it. Great planned tour. History and relaxation all in one.
