Antalya is a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. It is Turkey’s biggest international sea resort, located on the Turkish Riviera.
In 2011 the city had a population of 964,886 and the metropolitan municipality 1,041,972. Antalya was the world’s fourth most visited city by number of international arrivals in 2011, with 10.5 million annual visitors. Most of these tourists were changing planes or moving between the airport and the cruise lines.
Antalya,
this is what makes your stay in antalya worth while .. luv visiting this place 4 the shoppin boat trips and sites
first time i see a beach with stones (marbles) instead of sand. Probably because it is part of the mediterranean. The water is crystal clear early in the morning when the is empty but quite dark when it fills up with people
Lovely old harbour and winding streets make it a really nice place to visit the streets seem to go on forever with some wonderful very old buildings.
Stayed in a very old traditional hotel Tutav Adalya- which I would recommend (no balconies though- but great position right on the harbour front).
It's expensive though and seems some places just want…
We hired a boat for the day via our rep at the hotel. The guys on the boat were very good, a crew of 3. They cooked burger and chips for us for lunch included in the price. We had to buy the drinks but we knew that and it was no problem. They took photos during the trip and…
if you were looking for holiday tat, then this is the place. However we wanted to visit some real bazaars in Turkey and had to go much further afield for this.
being developed right now work, but the locals build very quickly and take pride in their work
Very large market mostly cheap copies of designer labels. I don't think Turkey produces anything original! Sweatshirts, T shirts and leather goods, football momentoes, watches all items very cheap, remember you only get what you pay for!!! Haggle is the name of the game.
The Ottoman architecture is beautiful and well restored. The old town is lovely to wander around, especially early in the morning and at night.
Fascinating and sunny besides this there is no sand so you walk comfortable way.You have to see this paradise!
Same as other old towns, Antalya Kaleiçi is a worthy place to see and relax together with a cup of tea. There are small cafes and pubs near the sea to enjoy.
